Costa Rica Women’s Charitable Association (CRWCA) is a group of local business owners, volunteer students, and retired professional mentors who want to share their success with women who have the ambition to grow. Over the years Jaco developed from a small beach town to a bustling vacation destination for both Ticos and foreigners alike.
CRWCA members have enjoyed the benefits of the development of infrastructure, fine restaurants, and 5 Star Condominium complexes. However, the extensive progress has provided few opportunities for women. We want to ensure the benefits of development are passed onto the young and middle age women living in Garabito. We want to create businesses to help the women who have been left behind.
It is a three-way win: mentors feel they contribute to their community: students gain valuable work experience: and most importantly, CRWCA women gain business skills, experience and an opportunity to support their families.
Being self-sufficient and debt free allows our Costa Rica Women’s Charitable Association to accomplish incredible opportunities!
We live up to our slogan.
A HAND UP, NOT A HAND OUT
